Recommend Products To Increase Your Profits

Well, the UPS problems are not nearly over! Seems that the cause of the outage was a planned test of the diesel generated back up power system. When the generator fired up, it sent a surge that took out the power to two buildings completely, and destroyed the computer room UPS. We have had lightning storms most every day since the failure, and every storm means a power outage, and our servers go down. They tell me that the new UPS will be install this week, so I can but hope *8>)

Recommend Products To Increase Your Profits
In affiliate marketing, there are many techniques that you can use to increase your earnings and improve your relationship with an account that you have already worked to promote. Most of the techniques and tactics are easily learned. Most of them are available on-line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
One of the more important ways of increasing your affiliate marketing bottom line is through the use of product recommendations. Smart marketers know that this is one of the most effective ways to promote a product.
If the customers or visitors trust you, then they will definitely trust your recommendations. Be very careful in using this approach, though. If you start promoting everything by recommendation, your credibility will actually wear thin. This is especially true when recommendations appear to be exaggerated and without much merit.
If you mention things that you do not like about a given product or service, it will add to your credibility. Rather than lose any points for you, this will make your recommendation more realistic and will tend to increase your sales.
If your visitors are really interested in what you are recommending, they will be extremely delighted to learn and how the product will benefit them and what is good and not so good about the product
When you recommend a product, here are some points to keep in mind:
1. Sound like the true leading expert in your field.
Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. If your visitors believe that you are an expert in your niche, they are more inclined to make that purchase. On the other hand, if you are not exuding any confidence and self-assurance in endorsing your products, they will probably not feel excited and want to buy and will go in search of another product or service which is being promoted in a more believable manner.
How do you establish this aura of expertise? By offering unique, new solutions they would not get anywhere else. Show proof that what you are promoting works as promised. Display prominent testimonials and endorsements from respected and well-known personalities in related fields.
2. Avoid hype at all costs.
It is far better to sound low key and confident, than to scream to try to get attention. Besides, you want to sound professional and have your clients and potential customers thinking that you are a trustworthy professional. Best to appear cool and self-assured at the same time.
3. Prospects are Not Stupid
And remember; prospects are not stupid. They are actually reading what experts have to say all the time, and may already know the things that you sharing. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, buyers will happily put down tens, hundreds, or even thousands of dollars to obtain the products you are promoting. But if you don't, they are smart enough to move on and look at what your competitors are offering.
While recommending a product, it is also important to give out promotional freebies. People are already familiar with the concept of freebies to enhance and promote your own products or services, but very few people do this to promote affiliate products and services. If you offer freebies that promote or enhance the product or service that you are promoting, you are sure to find an increase in sale.
5. Test Products and Support
Before you add recommendations to you product, you must try out the product and test the support. in. Test the product support before you begin to ensure that the people you are referring will not be left high and dry if a problem suddenly arises.
6. Do Not Promote Junk
Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it took you to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that it will take to destroy it is one big mistake on your part. The effort required to restore lost credibility is many, many times the effort it takes to build it in the first place, so guard your credibility well.
If possible, recommend only products in which you have 100% confidence. Have a look at your affiliate market and look at the strategies you are using. You may not be focusing on the recommendations that your products need to have. You plan of action is sometimes not making your program work the way it should.
Try a product recommendation and be among the few who have proven its worth.
