I just got off my weekly training call where I got the inspiration for this weeks newsletter article. I have never seen two people so determined to help their pupils succeed. They promise a one hour teleclass and deliver and hour and a half of high quality content. Then they stay on the phone until every question the participants have is answered. Two Hours to Success

Many people have been successful in just two hours. Follow the plan outlined below, and there is every reason for you to expect a significant measure of success. You must be prepared to put in two solid hours of quality effort every day. You must have the willpower and determination to follow this plan day after day, for it to be successful.

According to Jeff Wellman and Dixie Brown, before you put the plan into action, you will need to make a few preparations.

1. Decide upon the niche you are going to market into. Pick one that is active and has at least one or two active big marketers. That way you’ll know that there are buyers. There’s no use picking a niche without hungry buyers.


2. Find a quality product that offers an affiliate program in your chosen niche. A higher priced product with a lower percentage payout may be preferable to a higher commission on a lower priced product. Example: 25% of %50 is better than 50% of $9.


3. Create a PayPal account and/or a ClickBank account depending on the product you chose in step 2.


4. Sign up as an affiliate. Clickbank allows you to join a program and make your affiliate URL immediately. PayDotCom.com and Commission Junction (jc.com) can take several days to approve your request. Many of there programs require that you have a website up and running before you apply.


5. Mask your affiliate URL. You want to shorten the URL for your customers’ convenience, and protect the link so that it is harder for thieves to steal your commission. You can use a redirect on your own website - this is what I do - or use a service such as clickaudit.com or TinyURL.com


6. Market that product or service using the Two Hours to Success program.

Components of the Two Hour Program

1. Forums - Find one or two active forums in your niche. Read the forum rules. Follow them. Add a signature to your posts, if the forum allows it. Make sure that the forum contains good copy and your cloaked affiliate link. Be aware that some forums do not allow affiliate links. You will need to have your own domain name and redirect links to your site to your affiliates. Make quality posts. Answer questions. Give good content. Educate the forum members. Become seen as an expert in the niche. Make sure that your signature line meets the rules of the forum.


2. Set up a blog - preferably on your own domain so that you have control of the site and don’t have to worry about someone else’s rules about your posts. Publish articles on your blog. Write informative articles that relate to your blog and contain your cloaked affiliate links. Product reviews are a great way to meet both criteria.


3. Create short videos. Again they must contain quality content that relates to your niche. Don’t be afraid to put your cloaked affiliate link at the end of the video. Some folks even put it at the bottom of the screen for the entire video. Publish your videos on YouTube and other social video sites. You may even want to display your video on your own site.


4. Put ads for your affiliate site on Craiglist and similar sites. Be sure to read and obey the rules, or you may find yourself banned from these sites. Write good copy with your cloaked affiliate link buried in it.


5. Make yourself accounts on the most highly rated Social Networking sites such as My Space, Face Book, Squidoo, Tumblr, etc. Post good quality content. Educate folks. Include your cloaked affiliate link in every post.

Now The Two Hour Program

To use this program, you must set aside two hours where you will be undisturbed each day. Consistency is absolutely necessary if you would have any hope of success. Following the program for a week or so, then taking a couple of weeks off, then working at it for a couple of days and taking a break, etc. will pretty much guarantee you will fail.

The program consists of three time blocks in which you must do specific task.

Block One

In Block One you will spend 30 minutes each day on the forums you found earlier. For the first few days, just read posts and get the flavour of the forum. Once you understand the forum, start making posts and answering questions you know the answer to. It is better to make only a few quality posts than to make many worthless posts. It only takes a few poor posts to ruin your reputation on a forum. Remember the object is not to have your name on many posts, but rather to have people see your posts and believe that you know what you are saying. You want to be recognized as an expert.

Block Two

Blog. Spend one hour each day writing an article for your blog. Ensure that it is meaty and informative. As I said earlier, product reviews are great. Typos, spellos and grammos should be avoided as it makes your work look amateurish. PLR material makes a great jumping off point for an article. Don’t just copy it. Make a list of the salient points and then rewrite the article in your own words.

Block Three

This is the most flexible block. For this 30 minutes each day you have choices. You should make posts to three Social Networking sites or Craglist each day. You can rotate through your list putting Craiglist in every second day, or whatever suits your purpose. Spend 10 minutes on each post, and you have completed your mission for the day.
